privacy policy and gdpr updates

So, there’s this thing called GDPR.
Q.: Maybe you've heard of it or maybe you haven't, so what exactly is it?
A.: We don't know, and we're not sure anyone actually knows exactly either.
But, on May 25, 2018, new regulations from the European Union, known as GDPR, will go into effect.
We do know that it refers to Privacy Policy and Terms of Use when it comes to emails, and that's why we're emailing you today. We aren't thrilled about sending this extra email, but they tell us is must be done.
Mostly this applies to you if you're a citizen or living in the E.U., but we've always applied the same level of security and privacy protections to all of our subscribers and clients, so regardless of what you're from or where you live our Privacy Policy covers you too.
Here's the skinny on what we're doing that you can access to get more details about how you can manage your personal data, no matter where you live in the world.
What are we changing on our websites?
Nothing, absolutely nothing is changing in your current settings, you access to your information (which you've always had a right to as far as we're concerned), the high level of privacy we have always provided to anyone who's done any business with us, or your ability to control and if you choose to unsubscribe from all further contact from us.
But we think we still need, to send out this email, to ensure that ensure we are GDPR compliant. We're doing our best to follow the rules, even though we can't really tell what those rules are or how they'll apply to us doing business from the Ausralia. (so if you have more of clue than we do let us know what you think too).
Okay, let's keep it simple then, here's a link to our Privacy Policy to our Terms of Use and our cookie policy too. That’s all.

You are receiving this update because you have previously subscribed to our email updates (thanks for that again by the way).
There's a link below to unsubscribe and if you no longer want to receive any email from us please use it so we all remain complaint as requested.
Enjoy and thanks for letting us continue to do the right thing!
Mr Twenty Twenty and Victoria
P.S. - You may receive this email more than once from us because we use multiple lists that you may be on, we apologize for the inconvenience ... but, TO COMPLY WITH THE E.U. GDPR RULING IT SEEMS WE NEED TO SEND YOU AN EMAIL FROM EVERY EMAIL LIST YOUR ON WITH US ... I know, I know it's nuts, but what they tell us we have to do.
