So this morning, Victoria sat BOLT UPRIGHT in bed at EXACTLY 5 AM, and asked me for the alarm clock.  She said that she had some work to do before we drove into Melbourne for the day, and that she wanted to get up and do it.  Now here is THE KEY.  While she was drowsing off to sleep, she told HER MIND to wake herself up at EXACTLY 5:00 AM.
